Thoughtful speculative fiction, published with care.
Hayfam Books publishes character-driven stories about technology, history, society and the choices people make when their world begins to change.
Small enough to take responsibility for every book.
Hayfam Books is an independent UK fiction imprint based in Oxfordshire. It was created to publish, present and market speculative fiction with direct responsibility for the finished book.
The imprint currently publishes Andy Hayes’s work, including the Better World series and the Society of Temporal Studies.
Hayfam does not pretend to be a large publishing house. Its focus is a carefully presented catalogue, accurate information and a direct relationship with readers.
Thoughtful
Big ideas should remain clear, readable and grounded in human choices.
Independent
Creative and production decisions are made close to the books and their readers.
Professional
Editing, presentation, metadata and retail information should earn trust.
Reader focused
Every page should help someone understand, choose or buy a book.
Hayfam Books is not currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts.
The present focus is publishing and growing the readership for Andy Hayes’s existing catalogue.
